The Wharton Alliance hosts Second Annual Diversity Case Competition
The Wharton Alliance held its second annual Diversity Case Competition on November 22nd, 2014. The competition was hosted in coordination with Wharton Women and Wharton Undergraduate Finance Club. The Wharton Alliance would like to thank everyone who participated in the event, especially the corporate sponsor judges and representatives.
Open to all undergraduates at the University of Pennsylvania, the competition provided students with the opportunity to consider how diversity, whether with regard to race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, or other, impacts a firm's work environment and corporate-level strategy. The winning teams received $5,000 in prize money, and the top 20 teams had the opportunity to attend private networking events with The Wharton Alliance's corporate sponsors as well as The Blackstone Group.
