12th Annual Diversity Case Competition

Each year, we challenge participants to take on a simulated business problem at the intersection of diversity, equity, and inclusion, marketing strategy, and financial feasibility. Broadly, we ask teams to consider the question: What role does diversity, equity, and inclusion play when making major business decisions?

This year’s case asks participants to explore and devise innovative solutions for a case focusing on the issue of labor and environmental policy regarding fast fashion in Bangladesh.

Participating teams:

● Present their case to a panel of our corporate sponsors and field experts

● Have access to an exclusive career fair and keynote speech

● Send their resumes to our sponsors

● The top three teams will go home with cash prizes

Teams will submit a completed slide deck by February 23rd, 11:59 PM, then a select few teams will be invited to present their case in-person on February 27th. To register, use this link to the sign-up form. We ask that teams keep their schedules clear for that day, but a full schedule will be emailed to advancing teams before the event. Teams will have 15 minutes to present their case.

● Registration Due: Friday, February 20 at 11:59 PM

● Case Release: Saturday, February 21 at 8:00 AM

● Slide Deck Submission Deadline: Monday, February 23 at 11:59 PM

● Finalist Notification: Thursday, February 26 (Early Afternoon)

● Final Presentations: Friday, February 27, 2-5 PM

All participating teams are required to submit a $25 deposit to register. Please submit deposits to Anthony Imm (Venmo @Anthony-Imm, last 4 digits: 3630) within 24 hours of registration. Deposits for teams will be fully refunded upon participation in the competition or if a team decides not to participate BEFORE February 20th, 2025. Any cancellations after February 20th will result in the loss of your team’s deposit.
